Yesterday, we spent the afternoon at my sister-in-law's house. The boys enjoyed a little summer fun playing on the slip in slide and eating watermelon. The summer fun turned into messy fun when it became a mud fight, but that's what little boys should be allowed to do once in a while, so we rolled with it.

Oh, to be a kid again carefree and running in the backyard in your undies...or naked, depending if it was before or after the mud fight, running with tons of energy...nothing jiggling...no concern for the way you look...not caring about the mess...laughing hysterically. I want to be a kid again.
I have two identical twin sons who turned 25 this year. I also have hours of summer fun from when they were infants to the present along with tons of pictures. From about age 2 thru their mid teens, my boys usually found a way to end up naked while they were goofing off with their friends, but boys will be boys. When you mix carefree, hot, summer days, water, and some kind of physical activity with two or more boys, you would be amazed at how creative they can be when it comes to being wet, semi, or completely nude, and having lots of fun. So as long as it was innocent fun, I've learned to let boys be boys because they will grow up eventually just as mine did. So cherish all these little moments, and let your boys be boys before their childhood and innocence is gone because I know from experience that the years will fly by and before you know it, they will be starting families of their own.
